Medications Disposal
For injectable medications, we provide a sharps container to throw away your used needles. “Sharps” is a medical term that refers to items that can puncture or cut the skin. Examples include: needles, syringes, lancets, auto injectors and infusion sets. Proper disposal is important to prevent injury and the spread of infections to others. Sharps containers are for disposal of sharps ONLY.

Nordic Ice™ gel packs contain non-toxic gel and water soluble gels. According to the manufacturer, these gel packs can be easily recycled. Simply thaw the pouch, cut the corner, carefully pour the contents into the trash and recycle the plastic normally.
Ice chests, packs and polystyrene can be reused. These can be used for hunting, camping and fishing, among other uses, or can be donated to organizations that support these activities.
